Listening Comprehension
"Brotherly Love"
Students listened to a dialogue of two people speaking about their sibling. The class followed along with the dialogue by reading the related script for the dialogue. After listening, class discussed their thoughts on the dialogue, defined if the dimensions were social or academic, and relayed their thoughts about their siblings.
Speaking
Worked on vocabulary building, phrases, and articles with our class worksheets. Had class discussion after worksheets completed to help strengthen students speaking skills.

Writing

Students assigned writing prompt to help strengthen their current writing skills.
Think about this famous quote. What are your thoughts on justice? Do you believe and eye for an eye? Discuss some instances of justice and injustice in current events, or in your life. What are some instances of injustice that you would have handled differently? What are some inspirational stories of justice?
- 12 Complete sentences
- Correct punctuation, spelling, capitalization, BME format
- 5 Vocabulary words (underline vocabulary words)
- After students completed their writing, they shared their writing in class.
Looking Ahead
Class discussed objectives for the next class and went over any questions the students had.
